Well I'm lost for words again! The wrap up was nothing short of mind blowing. So many guys stating 'that was the best wave of my life', 'that's the best session I've ever had', or 'that was the biggest wave I've had'. Thanks!

Sitting on the Ombak Indah deck of an afternoon after a day of good waves, watching the sun set and waves roll by with a few mates and cold Bintangs is as good as it gets.

Hi Stu. My brother and I recently did a trip from Durban - South Africa to Ombak Indah in South Sumatra. We booked through True Blue in Cape Town. This trip was a bucket list item as we are both in our early fifties. Cannot believe we had such a great time - every one that was supposed to meet us at each point were smack on time and super friendly. The staff at the losmen were truly amazing - from the time the vehicle stopped at the entrance till we left we were looked after as if we were kings - our surf guide Nana, what a special person. Every moment of the day planning and looking after us. We surfed together and his knowledge of the local breaks was incredible. Food and lodging were perfect and the camp is beautiful. Shown my mates the pics and all I see is envy!!!. Just a big THANK YOU to all for an amazing adventure and we are hoping to plan a return leg. Thanks Nana, Ani, Aput, Dedi for your contributions to making our stay so memorable. Awesome part of the world and the best people around. No 1 place in the world for me. BLADDY BAGUS MATE.

The whole experience was excellent, from dealing with Sue to begin with, right through to coming home. All connections etc. went like clockwork, the Ombak Indah camp was great as were the staff. It was a father/son trip for Ben and I, and we couldn't have wished for a better choice of destinations. Being the middle of the off season I was a little apprehensive, but it wasn't a problem. The weather wasn't bad, the surf was consistent albeit with a lot of fresh in the water, but the fact that there were almost no other guests in the entire area made up for any wet season blues. Amril was awesome, such a nice guy, and Agus, and good to meet Nana. I've done quite a bit of travelling through Indo, but this was my first time to this end of Sumatra. Very different and unexpected, in a good way. Ben and I rode our bikes around everywhere daily, exploring and blundering into various places, beaches and shops and never felt anything but welcome by the locals. When you add up all the logistics that are taken care of and the camp, it's great value and just worry free, thanks to everyone at Freeline, we will be back.
Just a quick line to say thankyou for your organisational knowledge for my trip, everything went really well for my 1st trip to sumatra , thanks to the freeline team. It was an extreme adventure that had me waiting in anticipation for the next unknown experience just around the corner. Loved every second of the trip Regards, Paul Ford September 2013.

Sitting back at work on a freezing morning and getting a bit of warmth remembering the great trip to Ombak Indah. Ani and all her staff were fantastic and the place was spectacular with all the surf we could want. Food and cold beers were spot on and other attractions like the elephant walk and Pak Ing's jungle trek were fantastic diversions.
It was great value for money and I made some memories that will keep me going till the next time.

How are you? That was a great holiday, we enjoyed a lot there.
Sydney is getting cold and I miss watermelon juice at yours!
We liked your relaxing style no TV and nice local food.
Please don't forget some little exercise when you feel good, and say hello to Meraid for us.
Thanks and take care,
G'day Nev- thanks again for your hospitality - that was the best Indo trip I have had out of about ten trips , and as I said , you should be proud of what you are providing as it is even better than Bobby's G Land !!! I loved the casual nature of your place- Jayson has nicer bathrooms than you guys - but thats it !! you win on every count otherwisee- food, vibe, clientele, staff, etc etc !!
All the best and say hello to my mate Josh who will coming in the next coupla weeks and we will hopefully see ya next year too !, Anthony
